I'm in stitches

over these new pieces! I started creating knitted items years ago, then progressed to cross-stitching. Then new trends, such as jewelry-making and fabric-dyeing took over. While I enjoy exploring new forms of creative expression, stitching never really left me. Now, I find ways to incorporate stitching in almost all my creative work.

Using linen fabric pieces, buttons, beads, and trinkets, I stitched these delicate pins.

Trinket necklaces incorporate something found, something made, something colorful, so they're forever saved.

Another example of my stitching at work is apparent in this Junk Journal. This is just one page of a book I created, which incorporated painted fabric, lace, stitching, and beads.
